Landscaping Applications: Stabilisation of Cover Soil

On steep slopes the cover soil should be retained using geosynthetics.

Alternatively, benching of the slope reduces the friction angle created in the confining soil.

Filling the confining soil into the cells of a cellular confinement support system.

The cellular confinement support system should be anchored over the RAWMAT® HDB prior to filling.

Once anchored the cellular confinement support system cells are filled with a minimum of 300mm cover soil.

With the cellular confinement support system cells filled and grass established, the RAWMAT® HDB functions as a effective and stabilised barrier membrane.
